About the Event

The Big Workplace Rewrite: Flexibility, Trust, Controls.

Before COVID-19, just a little over 20% of knowledge workers worked from home (WFH) sometimes. In the lockdown, as many as 40% have experienced WFH 100% of the time. Now, almost 70% want the flexibility of WFH at least one to two days a week, leading to the growing interest in hybrid workplaces.

Knowledge workers want more flexibility of decision-making and choice of how they work and where they work. Management and HR, on the other hand, grapple over how much controls they can give up and to what extent they can trust that work gets done with results. A big portion of the workforce will be dispersed and "invisible".

So what new structural changes will you need to strike a balance? And, what organizational values will help get there?

Join the 2nd NWL Conversations by Ellagora to pick this apart with scientist, Stephanie Juniat, M&A director, Meaghan Kappel, CIO, Sankarsan Banerjee, Ideas Alive principal, Carla Yetter, and Ellagora principal, Eileen Lee Lavergne. Come to learn and make a new professional friend.

Notions of time, space, distance and information have been distorted in ways never imagined before. The importance of connecting to get to a shared understanding is on us as knowledge thinkers and do-ers. This dedicated forum is an opportunity to get practical on innovative thinking for today's hybrid workplace. Whether you are a people manager or not, if you are tired of the status quo and want to do different and better, you're in good company. Diverse and grounded perspectives is what we are aiming for, not expert authority.

Sign up and save your seat now! And, here is a related blogpost and more, for a warm up to the conversational topic.
